What the kids have to say!(great idea Katrina)
Ellie popped out of the shower with a grand "Ta-Da" motion and announced....." I'm fresh and steamy!"
At HotShots we have a paintball team called L.A. Swat. We talk about them all the time, these guys are a big part of our lives. Ellie recently inquired why the team had the same name as her ELLIE Swat. Ha! You just never know what is in their little heads.
EJ(listening to mom's I-pod): Aden listen to this song " In the ayer, ay, ayer, ayer"(song by Flo-rida)
Aden: I don't Cay-er, cay, cay-er, cay-er
Mom& Dad : Man he is quick!
EJ: Mama, When does Daddy have another CAT Scan?
SJ: Not for a couple weeks beebs. Why?
EJ: So will he bring a kitty HOME this time?
We found a dead butterfly outside HotShots yesterday, so I picked it up so we could look at it. It wasn't squished or anything so the kids thought it might still be alive.It wasn't. When I told them that "for sure it isn't alive" Aden launched into an extremely dramatic and theatrical " NOOO, he was too young to die, his life was soooo short" The kid cracks us up!
There is a shortcut between HotShots and Walmart that we often take.
EJ: Mamma are we going to take the haircut?
SJ: You want a Haircut?
EJ: No, are we going to take the haircut to WalMart?
SJ: (belly rolls and laughter)but till this day it is still called the Haircut.
Burke: The Chemo will make me lose my hair and maybe even my eybrows.
Aden: That's okay Dad. Maybe we could get you a storm trooper helmet then nobody will be able to see your face!

awe I love the pictures. Looks like so much fun. It's neat to see S's side of the family. The NorthWest looks beautiful. What a great trip!
